Old Man's Corners

Got some needed vehicle maintenance completed. Transmission service for both mine and Mrs. AZ's DD. I really hate sealed automatic transmission systems so took both to a local transmission shop that was recommended by a few people I know including the folks at NAPA.

Owner of the shop is a cool dude. He marveled at just how well maintained both vehicles are. Said he wishes some of his other customers were as on top of it as me. Fluid in both looked good, no sign of metal shavings or excess wear. Agreed that having the trailer towing packages in both helps a lot. Liked the fact that I refused to follow "the manuals" when it comes to transmission servicing. Now that both are done, will set up for a 25-30K schedule for both. Hers was overdue by 15K. Mine was last done at 60K even thought the "manual" says do at 100K. It now has just under 105K.

Update on Mrs. AZ:

Today she took her first steps without the use of crutches. Not a lot. Of course it was painful even with the boot on but steps without crutches regardless. Previous two days she's been trying it with the aide of only one crutch! The doctor had said on the 10th it might be a week or so before she would be able to walk without them.

Progress!

Look it up.

Phosphorus and potassium.

Body needs those two to help healing.
