Jury nullification is when a jury votes "not guilty" even though they believe the defendant broke the law. This can happen when jurors disagree with the law, the punishment, or the application of the law in a particular case.

Gen X man says he feels sorry for the young people today not raised in the 70s and 80s, we're doomed

I think the 70's were not that great..80's was okay.

For instance cars: I grew up in streets with dented cars everywhere, cars were rust buckets..they were not great at all. Hello Chrysler K-car. Your mufflers rusted out and Midas would screw you to fix them. Buses belching black smoke. Gas stations selling you watered down orange gasoline.

People selling stereos out of their trunks, some bad drug addicts, armed robberies of businesses/banks/gas stations, armored car heists, driving through Boston's combat zone and seeing hookers soliciting next to peep show theaters and strip joints.

I agree with Anton..people seem to think the past was all rosey.

If you grew up in 1980's suburbs like I did the 80's were the best. On my street alone which consisted of 14 homes, including the one I lived in, had 5 homes with boys my age which included my bestest best friend who was my next door neighbor and we had a blast. At 7-8 years old we were set free to play outside until it got dark. By time we were 8-9 we all got BMX bikes (except me I got a Huffy and was made fun ) and rode miles from home just being boys so to me the 80s ruled and I really do feel sorry for the young today.

Blind, severely injured kitten I rescued back in late June.


Mauled by a pit bull, then hit by a speeding pickup truck. At one time feared I would have to put him down. Give everyone one guess how I helped the little fella deal with extreme pain.

This morning had to help him back down. He cannot see the steps below him. Seven feet up.

My last project. Sunshine had both of her back legs broken by crackheads across the street early one morning two years ago.

Neighbors said she would never walk again. Now look at my baby girl!
