Back in the 90s, when Martha Reeves was inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, she held a party at the Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit.

An older man handed me his ticket for a car to be brought up.

Martha's father. I really enjoyed him sharing some of his pride with me.

Up comes a mint condition 1965 Mercedes Benz Martha Reeves bought with her number one hit.

A few years later, a friend of mine in the horn section of the Temptations borrowed the car.

I got to sit in the back seat of that 1965 Mercedes Benz coming back from Pontiac late one night listening to....
