Old pictures of Pakistani Cities

Old Hashtangri Bazaar
The cool and tasty ice cream of old Peshawar, Silver Star, is another name for it, Khyber Ice Cream, which was sold in wooden carts and probably its factory was in the alley next to Jalil Kabab in front of Jinnah Park.

This alley went straight ahead and went out towards the vegetable market. At the beginning of this alley, there used to be a Standard High School.

A memorable picture of old Peshawar which was taken from the Chowk Yadgar in the city of Sarafa Bazaar.

This building on the opposite side is still there, which does not let the memories of old Peshawar disappear.

This is the reason why people could not forget Peshawar.

Two absolutely amazing comparison pics of RAWALPINDI taken 60 years apart. The first pic is from my(JAC) album.

This pic brings back so many memories of trips to Rawalpindi! I think it used to take us a couple of hours to get there from Mangla? Taken around 1965.

The second pic is from FAISAL KHAN: Nowadays the same place is like this in Rawalpindi Sardar area. Pic taken by me(FAISAL) last week.
