Manora Point Lighthouse, Karachi — A Historic Guardian of the Sea

This historic lighthouse, standing on the coast of Karachi for centuries, is not just a tower, but a silent witness to the safe passage of countless ships.

This magnificent lighthouse, built in 1889, still retains its historical glory today, while the first light was lit at this location in 1851. Its towering structure, traditional hand-operated lens system, and the adjacent St. Paul's Church make this place one of the important historical heritage sites of Pakistan.

The beautiful view of Karachi Harbor, the port and the sea spread out in the background makes this picture even more memorable. If you are interested in history, architecture and maritime heritage, Manora is definitely a place worth visiting.
