[Dian News Report] Today (8th) is the first competition day of the Harbin Asian Winter Games. In the women's 1500m speed skating final, the Chinese team took the top three places, with Han Mei, Yang Binyu and Yin Qi winning the first, second and third place respectively. Han Mei won the gold medal with a time of 1 minute 58.09 seconds. This is the third gold medal won by the Chinese sports delegation in the speed skating event and the eighth gold medal won by the Chinese team in the Harbin Asian Winter Games!

After the game, Han Mei said, "This ice rink is very similar to the one used in the Beijing Winter Olympics. I feel like I'm back in a big competition. I'm very excited."


Han Mei recalled that she had participated in a competition in Harbin in 2017. Many of her achievements in the first few years of learning to skate were made here, and she also stood on the podium here many times. As the host of the Asian Winter Games this time, Harbin is so enthusiastic.
