Central and west Asia are also Asia, most central Asian countries are very cold in winter.

Turkey is the limit of West Asia, and Turkey don't snow (except at attitude, like Ankara which is 3000 ft above ground) and there are only 5 countries in Central Asia , beside Kazakhstan, they don't snow constantly like in Japan, Northern China and Korea as they are ALL BELOW Kazakhstan, they snow maybe 10 days or less a year.

Even Kabul in Afghanistan snow a few days during winter, does that mean they should be good at winter sport or it should generate Hugh interest

Live broadcast on February 12th, in the Harbin Asian Winter Games cross-country skiing women's 4×5 km relay final, the Chinese team won the gold medal. This is also the 28th gold medal for the Chinese delegation in this Asian Winter Games.


The Chinese team, consisting of Li Lei, Chi Chunxue, Chen Lingshuang and Diniger-Yilamujiang, won the championship with a score of 53:59.3. So far, Chinese cross-country skiing has won 4 golds, 2 silvers and 3 bronze medals in this competition.
