Operation Ghazab Lil Haq (Pakistan - Afghanistan War)

What is so hard about understanding that they are killing Pakistani citizens in the thousands? It matters little how and who brought them to power. They are inimical to the interests of Pakistan because for them all of Pakistan is murtad and our blood is Halal for them to spill.

Stop living in the past. Nobody involved in the policies of the past is around and calling the shots.
well ,yesterday's polices todays 'conditions and tomorrow constraints.
If Pakistani armed forces wants to achieve something strike the whole leadership in Kabul, otherwise , we are again losing our boys on the ground without any outcome. We don t want another Gen Gul Hamid, Jalabad debacle ... my two cents ...

a cop out- what support is China to provide to Pakistan in the case of this conflict with Afg?

Really? Whats the build up against taiwan for? Peace and love? The flotilla of hugs?

The fact that China views the Taliban and Pakistan as partners in the same relationship says enough.

Alas, you can do your China bootlicking in the appropriate thread. Let us enjoy our fireworks here.
There is no shame in being partners in a relationship with Afghanistan. We are not like Indians who are insecure about these categorizations. All we care about is having peaceful relationships with Afghanistan and other neighbors, so we can all prosper together.

Many Turks don't understand the A, B and C of this conflict. They do understand that they must influence Afghanistan which is the backyard of Central Asian countries. It is no secret that Turks have a special affection for Central Asian states which they consider as their blood lineage.

Also public sentiment in Turkiye can sometimes fluctuate based on different historical narratives and modern political contexts.

There are historical ties between Turkiye and Afghanistan (The Ataturk Connection). One of the most significant reasons for the strong, enduring, and affectionate view of Afghanistan in Turkey is the historical relationship between the two nations' founding movements.

King Amanullah Khan and Mustafa Kemal Atatürk: In the 1920s, King Amanullah Khan of Afghanistan was a major reformer who sought to modernize his country, much like Atatürk in Turkey. They maintained a very close, brotherly relationship. Amanullah Khan was one of the first heads of state to visit the new Republic of Turkey and express support for Atatürk’s secular and modernization reforms.

Following this, Turkey sent numerous teachers, military officers, and advisors to Afghanistan to help build their institutions and modern army. This created a legacy of "fraternal" support that is still taught in Turkish history books. To many Turks, Afghanistan is viewed through a lens of shared history during the early 20th-century nation-building period.

There is also strong Pan-Turkic sentiment among some groups in Turkey. Because some Afghan ethnic groups (like the Uzbeks and Turkmens) share linguistic and cultural roots with Turks, there is often a specific cultural kinship felt toward those communities in Afghanistan, which sometimes colors the perception of the nation as a whole.

Turkey’s relationship with Pakistan is often framed through geopolitics and strategic partnership, rather than just cultural history.

Turkey often views itself as a model for Islamic nation-building—secular, republican, and modern. Historically, some Turks felt a closer alignment with the reformist history of Afghanistan. Conversely, the relationship with Pakistan is often viewed as a "state-to-state" friendship based on mutual strategic interests, which can feel more formal or "distant" compared to the romanticized, historical connection with Afghanistan.

Let's be under no illusion. There are indeed Turks that would walk over Pakistan and support Afghanistan every day of the week. These Turks feel culturally closer to Afghanistan.
They have bonding with Uzbeks, Turkmens, Qizilbash, and smaller groups like Kyrgyz and Kazakhs tribes.

This attack disrupted Chinese investment in Afghanistan and also Taliban helped China controlling Uyghur separatist , which repeatedly attack Chinese Xinjiang province.
Give you little idea.
Not really.

The taliban continue to ignore Chinese requests to reign in Uyghur separatists.

The taliban have also been on a needle edge with the Chinese, as they've attempted multiple times to steal Chinese investments. Basically, kick out Chinese companies once they finish a project in Afghanistan.

Don't get me wrong I really don't have anything against China. Its just that you would expect them to stand with us in these sort of situation given our long standing relationship.
Some of these takes are just suspiciously dim

A modern army is taking on a very troublesome rabble who are literally no more technologically advanced than the 1950s or something.

The heck do you need China to give support?

And by the way the ultimate goal is to pacify and then ultimately cooperate with Afghanistan.

Finding angles to undermine strong allies is very illogical

Impossible as long as Afghanistan remains a proxy of India.

Be under no illusion. The Taliban and India share the same ideology when it comes to Pakistan. Both have territorial disputes with Pakistan. Both joined hands against Pakistan due to their shared grievances.

The Taliban aren't going to change in another 1000 years. They don't recognise the Durand Line. There is absolute enmity by Taliban and Afghans against Pakistan. That won't change anytime soon.

Indians are like this. They demand absolute authority over how their allies react. It's obnoxious.

China can do whatever they please as long as that deadly high end Chinese engineering keeps getting delivered. That alone is priceless.

We should all move on from this topic.

The Taliban are demanding recognition from Pakistan as the legitimate government of Afghanistan. Pakistan is refusing this for various reasons. The Taliban respond by turning a blind eye to the TTP/BLA terrorist groups and building relations with India.
Curious, Did India recognize them as legitimate Afghan government?
I know Afghan FM was officially received and welcomed in India.
