Pakistan has been bombed out for 20 years by Afghans relentlessly and now 4 days into a response by Pakistan, so called friendly countries want a ceasefire.

All they care about are their business dealings with the taliban.

They should no longer entertain any discussions around Afghanistan and see this through all the way.

Taliban as a concept and a governing force should no longer exist. Its ideology is a threat to Pakistan. It must not exist.

With respect to genuine allies like Turkiye, we should not stop until TTA/TTP/BLA become footnotes in history like PKK. Ankara should be accepting of this stance.

T*aliban was sh*ot by a civilian in the foot with his own weapon while assaulting a civilian in Kabul earlier this afternoon.

While the “amusement” exists - keep in mind these are generally hardy less than average “standard intelligence” stubborn folk who are wily within their upbringing and thought process .

You cannot negotiate with someone brainwashed into believing that their path is right and you cannot discount their ability to merge back into their fields.

Your best bet is to ensure a kill when you engage them and reduce their capacity to return home. The only way this conflict ends is with Pakistan establishment realizing that having foreign linked religious leadership and promoting Jihad beyond your official well trained disciplined military is IDIOTIC as is giving ANY space to such elements in Pakistan.

Heck, Pakistan should take another 2 billion dollar loan - use it to provide paid luxury hajj package to every possible identified individuals of the Taliban, TLP, SSP, Shia counterparts and so on - on luxury liners.
Then sink those ships to the bottom of the sea and then nuke the wrecks just in case.

Because most of the training was isolated by US and NATO to very small numbers of ANA personnel (some of whom are GOOD) but most of them evacuated.

So whatever is left of those within the Taliban are likely kept to guarding high value individuals and what remains are the hordes of Shalwar utar gai variety - but those are cheap to replace so your bullets run out before these mountain goats do.

Mostly concentrated on the ANA Commando corp I believe, Some of them joined the Taliban's "Special" Forces, I have heard the Taliban have concentrated their "best" Troops in the Panjsir valley.
