It never was Islam, it was always Pushtoon nationalism, but during the war nobody will join or blow themselves up for Ethnicity hence the cover of Islam was taken by Taliban. Even groups like FSA and Jolani's are now acting responsibly as a state, they were a militia group but since they know they have a country to run they change their ways, Afghans are just as useless as it can get, they had 3 chances in last 20 years and they blew each one up.

1st when Taliban first took over in the 1990's, instead of uniting the country they gave shelter to OBL and get bombed the crap out of themselves and other Afghans.

2nd when America/Allied forces took over, they could've just transformed their society but no, they supported Taliban and ANA was busy in corruption and their forces were Charsi nasherdi thugs. They backstab America, and also their awam supported Taliban 2.0 rise.

3rd when this Taliban 2.0 came to power, now they have full country, more better insight and neighbors supporting them coming back in power, but they have to resort to Terrorism and give shelter to TTP/BLA, all because of their racial BS and India.

Afghans are the most useless people on earth, I can see Syria get back on their feet but Afghanistan and KPK region of Pakistan will stuck in the Baba Adam era, and they will still be breeding kids for Suicide missions while the rest of the world is progressing.

ISPR Director General Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry participates in an interview on March 18.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry on Wednesday stated that the strike carried out in Kabul earlier this week had targeted an ammunition storage site.

He made the remarks while speaking on Geo News programme ‘Capital Talk’.

The military’s spokesperson stated that the public needed to understand the context behind Operation Ghazab lil-Haq, which was launched against the Afghan Taliban last month, specifically that it was not a “standalone” military campaign, but rather a part of Pakistan’s ongoing war against terrorism.

“This war has been imposed upon Pakistan by terrorists and their sponsors,” he said. He said that it was common knowledge that India was behind terrorism in Pakistan and was using Afghanistan as “a base of operations”.

He said that Afghanistan had acted as a base of operations for every act of terrorism in Pakistan, pointing to the suicide bombing in an imambargah in Islamabad’s Tarlai area.

“Innocent children, people and worshippers were killed during Friday prayers. Where did the terrorist come from? Afghanistan,” DG ISPR said.

ISPR shouldn't give such political statements. Basically, ISPR is modifying the rule to "eye for eyes"

let them bark

and yes this the one thing we can learn from israelis , how much they care about the lives of their soldeirs and country men , like recently they raided a village in lebanon to search for the body of a IAF WSO that died in 1980s

With the size of these NATO/US bases, it would have been best if Pakistan used large payload JDAMs to destroy every single building or carpet bomb the whole area for maximum damage. In comparison US B52's can carry approx 20 2000lb GBU-31 JDAMs.
