PTI is just the top layer, the bottom layer that allows Taliban penetration into Pakistan is Pashtun tribalist nationalism.

Especially amongst the ex-FATA belt. And the Northern Balochistan belt.

If we defeated Taliban today, an explicitly ethnic militia would replace it like the BLA. Its not nearly as much about religion as it is their ethnicity.

Army fanbois might have forgotten but when Pakistan gained independece there was a significant insurgency in parts of rural kpk and waziristan (faqir of Ipi) the political and army leadership of that time tackeled this problem seriously that the same tribes who fought against us joined the forces and FC in large numbers if it can be done then
Then why not now (It is not even that hard cause almost 95% cavemen are not even Pakistani that are fighting against us in KPK all are afghani)
