Afghan Tajiks had long been asking Pakistan to make the Durand Line permanent but Pakistan's preference has been to work more with the Afghan Pashtun.
I'd say still better to work with those Afghan Pashtun who are not the stupid leaders like some factions of the current Afghan Taliban regime and there are indeed those present in Afghanistan.
As to the Wakhan Corridor, the terrain is too hostile for trade across it most of the year and W.C is not a popular route for infiltration to Pakistan, so not much value controlling that either. To trade with central Asia, it is better to have peace between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

This terrorist Zalmay Khalil is very upset about Pakistan bombing A-Stan. If I have to take an educated guess, Pakistan has stuck and killed approximately 100 terrorists hiding in a mosque. Yes there were many civilian casulities but these Afghan terrorists hide behind women and children. So this monkey Zalmay and his CIA handlers are very concerned that if Pakistan gets into this habbit of killing their assets, all of their plan to destabalize Central Asia goes to dust.

Maybe you should pay more attention to history and the mentality of GHQ ? The Taliban is their baby and a war in Afghanistan a huge source of income going back 50 years. An additional income stream is the massive border smuggling business. GHQ is not going to change any of this no matter how many ordinary Pakistani citizens die, as witnessed in last 25 years alone.

I know history very well. My question remains, what is your source that GHQ is not fighting taliban? In one of your comment you seem to be in denial that any terrorist base was hit even when TTP themselves called it a training center. I wanna know what you know that i dont know.
