These countries help Pakistan financially, people with remittances from these places. They only intervene when its fine with Pakistan. I don't understand people venting against these countries for no reason. If military wants to continue operation then its only and only their decision to make. If they are stopping it then its also GHQ's own decision. This is lame excuse to blame other countries. Other countries can never end a war if one of the party wants to continue.

What if, Trump decides that he got a deal with Iran and finds a new target ? As his military in the region and he'd want some sort of military action for his hardcore followers. Aerial action over AFG would mean, no retaliation and no risks to US forces too (which is not the case with Iran).
He wanted Bagram airbase too. Pak military won't mind US joining the party to hit Taliban.
Though China won't be happy US making a base once again in Afg.
Anyways its just a theory, chances of US joining war are very minimum.

A major conflict with Iran in coming days, if it happens, is Pakistan's main worry. Afghanistan and India: Pakistan can deal with them and at the same time if needed.
However, I absolutely don't believe Americans, even IF they wanted to, would be able to hold on to the Bagram Airbase; that's a non-starter.
