Absolutely right. Others will officially state what they need to state for their own optics. I cannot believe some here are questioning official lines from PRC, Turkey etc. If they don't drag us to any sort of "negotiations", then they get a free pass to say what they like (within reason of course).

Trump is different. He is a wild card and says what he likes anyway, regardless of optics. I don't think he minds much.

One thing I do hope for though is that somehow Iran can stave off any Israel-USA attack on them during this time because we are too busy now to offer any diplomatic support! The timing of this taliban misadventure seems orchestrated by their various handlers.

In the context of this war and specifically the region and it's recent history of endless war I would genuinely expect any right-minded nation to diplomatically state that Pakistan and Afghanistan should seek diplomacy.


This is ultimately the best course of action, assuming two parties acting in good faith




Pakistan is just trying to work on the good faith aspect with the Taliban, hence a few delays



Obviously the afghans are pretty helpless against any modern army, Pakistan is showing resolve and capability in really taking out a lot of the hostile infrastructure.

There is only one way to not only defeat Taliban and India, but also the Pakistan critics all across the world. Simply continue to bomb the Taliban. Make them kneel and repent. As long as they don't, continue with the onslaught. Yes, Pakistan should use its military and other advantages over Afghanistan to the fullest and unapologetically.

It is very hard to talk about peace in war hysteria and jingoism. Kudos to those who kept emphasising that.
We should maximise hitting the ammunition depot as much as possible. Some advantageous must be held for negotiations. Wakhan can be captured (sparse pop) if the international community remain silenced. However, China is building roads there.
NRF doesn't have enough manpower to rule over Pashtun majority. They can split the upper half of AFG, which is more plausible. However, Pak has no money and int leverage to support this.
