Emerging Threats from Afghan Soil — A Clear Lesson for Their Supporters in Pakistan
A video is circulating on social media platforms from certain accounts run under the patronage of the Afghan Taliban, in which an Afghan child can be seen openly threatening a suicide attack against Pakistan.
This is not the first instance of such videos surfacing. Previously as well, multiple videos have come into the public eye in which Afghan elements have openly issued threats against Pakistan.
An Afghan openly threatens a suicide attack on Pakistan, yet no particular attention is paid by the Afghan Taliban.
The lamentable fact is that a few mischief-mongering elements in Pakistan call these people brothers.
Brotherhood is always based on mutual respect, peace, and well-being, not on threats, suicide attacks, and slogans of bloodshed.
When one party openly expresses aggression and the other ignores it while presenting a romantic notion of relations, this is a deviation from the demands of national security.
It is necessary to look at ground realities instead of emotional slogans.
It may be noted that previously, the Afghan Taliban leader Hamid Khorasani has also stated that they have regular squads of suicide attackers, which can be used for operations at any time.
The threatening videos and statements issued by Afghans make it clear that certain elements pose a longstanding danger to Pakistan.
