Operation Ghazab Lil Haq (Pakistan - Afghanistan War)

If it was me I would ask for no written guarantees but

Arrest and hand over all known terrorist commanders and sub commanders. If not acceptable or doable, then there is no point in talking any business.

These commanders are living in afghanistan, if TTA cannot arrest them then they do not have any writ and are not a party we should be talking to. Anything except this unacceptable.

A significant reduction of 35 per cent in combat-related fatalities was recorded across Pakistan during the month of March, coinciding with Operation Ghazab lil-Haq, according to monthly statistics released by a think tank.

Data released by Islamabad-based Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICSS) showed that a total of 331 people were killed in March compared to 506 in February, marking a 35pc decline in overall combat-related deaths.

PESHAWAR: The process of returning Afghan nationals via the Torkham border crossing in Khyber District resumed on Wednesday, following a suspension that began on February 26 due to heightened tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

The Torkham border had remained closed for nearly a month, disrupting not only the movement of Afghan nationals but also bilateral trade between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Under the supervision of immigration authorities, a total of 705 individuals from 223 families were repatriated, including 90 individuals from 21 Afghan Citizen Card holder families, 294 individuals from 82 Proof of Registration card holder families, and 321 individuals from 120 families residing illegally.

The group comprised 223 men, 127 women, and 355 children, all of whom underwent full immigration and security procedures before being sent back to Afghanistan.

What is the count to date? How many more are needed to consider it a success? I understand that eventually quite a few will remain, but then again, how many will stay and be accepted as Pakistanis? My estimated data is that there were 5.5 million Afghans then, and approximately 1.5 million are targeted to be returned. Is that correct?

A few Indian tik tokers saying some villages along the border have been emptied... Any news regarding that ?

It is absolutely shameful that both China and Pakistan are talking with Terrorists.
Situation is not clear cut. Let us wait and see what is actually happening, as messages are mixed. Twitter isn't helping to be honest.

This flies in the face of all the Taliban apologists who were claiming this was an "in-house problem" for Pakistan to sort out all on its own.

Clearly, a lot more needs to be done but Afghanistan remains the epicenter of terror for Pakistan. What is also insightful is the massive drop in the BLA activity. That also shows the nexus impacted inside of Afghanistan, between TTP-BLA brokered by the IEA, through Pakistani kinetic actions.
