No outside country can stop us if we really want to pummel the cavemen 24/7 problem is the lack of will and clarity from our sideChinese have been less than helpful in dealing with the TTP problem. This is because of the Chinese that our air campaign had stopped.

Maybe thats exactly what they want...that even their small tickle should make big headlines in Pakistan.....it pinches them alot once their tickles and our response (not every time proportionate) dont make our headlines....
They are also the reason for this entire BS happening in Pakistan. Why do they left highly sophisticated weapons to taliban??? Most armies in the region doesn't have access to such high tech small arms.Contrary to popular sentiment in Pakistan, US has always been Pakistan's most trusted and effective ally in our war against home grown insurgency and terrorism. They are the ones who were indirectly aiding 7Div in NW with their consistent drone campaign from 2010 till 2014 when finally we got around to clearing that hell hole. Before that, our troops were at the mercy of daily IEDs and ambushes. The only respite was when an American drone would take out a local commander.
All our major terrorist targets have been taken out by the US. It's unfortunate we couldn't see eye-to-eye on Afghanistan's political solution, but no one should deny US assistance. The only way forward to take out our most wanted terrorists in Afghanistan, is by getting intelligence assistance from the US, since our own intel community is so incompetent that we can't even locate a mid-level commander in Afghanistan, after having 50 years of footprint in that country.

Backing the Taliban in Afghanistan was a catastrophic strategic error but one Pakistan now has to resolve. I wish more than anyone that Pakistan was more pro-active and aggressive, but the people here pushing an agenda are fooling no one.
If not for the Pashtun complexity, Pakistan would have solved the Afghan headache long ago.
