Border Clash Update - Kurram District Clashes began when Afghan terrorists attempted to construct new border posts.Despite multiple warnings, Pakistani security forces carried out aerial firing to disperse them. Within the next hour, Afghan Taliban deployed quadcopters and brought in Humvees, opening fire on Pakistan's FC Ziarat Post in Kurram.

Pakistani security forces responded with heavy weapons and targeted Duran Camp, Duran OP, Porana Thana, and the newly established Afghan Ziarat post. As a result, Afghan Taliban completely evacuated their border posts, including Duran Camp, and retreated, abandoning equipment and positions.

Firing has now ceased.
