Why do we have to declare favourites. There should be no clear winner, let them fight till eternityAn articulate and rational individual. I am confident that we are already backing him by clandestine means.
Not because I expect us to inherently trust any particular Afghan over another per se, as their national policy is, de facto, an anti-Pakistani one with regards to our national borders.
However, if we don't vehemently (perhaps even publicly?) back this man, others will, leaving us kicking dirt.
We can, in the fullness of time, speak in a mature fashion with such individuals and encourage them to abandon any counterproductive and lingering claims on Pakistani lands.
