I don't think there is any solution, just the least worst state of affairs.
Tbh more realistic Pakistan India can have a more reasonable equilibrium

Nothing to be jubilant about, trying to pitch anti Taliban against Taliban will further the civil war further the bloodshed. Doesn't really solve the Pakistan specific terrorism problem. What we must do is not stop striking at Afghan terror camps because Talibs went crying to Russia, our resolve, or lack of it, will, and has always shaped things in central Asia....

Wonder what KPK Govt has to say about such tweets? I don't Maryam Nawaz but she wasn't wrong when said that her state/Country faces greater threat from KPK/Baluchistan than India or Iran or Israel or USA.

This is what happens when ethnicity and political loyalty are placed ahead of the country. TTP has murdered more Pashtuns than anyone else in recent history, yet some people still reserve all their anger for the state while making excuses for the very terrorists slaughtering their own people.

Tribal elders were beheaded, markets were bombed and entire communities were terrorised, but there was never the same outrage or resistance against TTP. A society cannot defeat an enemy it is still unwilling to clearly identify and confront. At some point, KPK society also has to look inward and ask why these narratives continue to find space.

Like it or not, call me racists but truth is that TTP survives only because of people of KPK, Tribals. If they decided enough is enough and they stand with state, and by stand with State means completely exile every TTP fighter or their families, strict rules on anyone associating with TTP or similar organization, i'd say within a year you will see KPK situation change, but unfortunately people of KPK/Tribals have their reasons to support/hide/back TTP, some do it because of same ethnicity and others because the same Shariah law churan.
