Iran needs decent fighter jets, a nation can not rely on missile defence we have seen it time and time again fail.

The heavy strike package must have been picked up by Americans and Israelis ....or they had prior information of Pak attack.....

Oh bhai look the Areesh post above they were related to terrorist separatists, and would they (Iran) kill terrorist? Were the 2 children that they killed in Pakistan were terrorists not innocent?

Houthis = Iran and Iran must be contained. The timing couldn't be more perfect. Kindly, read the second part of this post.
We differ on this 100%.

I see the Houthis as heroes who are doing something meaningful to hurt Israel and its supporters (economic hit). Why should the Palestinians be the only ones suffering from this conflict?

And the Houthis are achieving their goals in the face of the most advanced weaponry on the planet:
  • Insurance rates are up 10x
  • Some companies refuse to insure passage.
  • Shipping costs and delays are up.
  • Factories are closing down temporarily.

And just as important as the economic hit, they are providing invaluable emotional support to the Palestinians as they fight Israel. While the rest of the Muslim world bows their heads like slaves, the Houthis are telling the brave Palestinians "we are with you in not just in empty words, but in actual deeds".

So, to me, they are heroes.

@Developereo I wanted to address your reply to my post regarding Houthis. Houthis are simply using Israel's name to justify their piracy. You justified that these actions are good because they hurt Israel even if the rest of the world suffers from it as a consequence. I strongly disagree with such outlooks. Allow me to demonstrate via an example. If we drop a hydrogen bomb on Israel, along with Israelis, it will also end up killing all 10s of millions of Lebanese, Egyptians, Syrians and Jordanians. Is this justified? Are we ok to see 100s of millions of our brothers die just to see Israel die?

Houthis have attacked Indian, Japanese, Norwegian, Liberian, Panamanian, Bahraini and Emirati merchant vessels. Are any of these countries attacking Palestine? How would the Houthis know that these ships were trading with Israel? Even if they were carrying goods for Israel, it still makes them neutral and doesn't warrant an attack. It's not like they were carrying weapons for Israel. Each of these merchant vessel carries goods for multiple countries. Any attack on these vessels hurt all the countries to which they were supposed to deliver goods. Houthis have now made almost the entire world their enemy by doing this whereas previously most countries didn't care about Houthis.

If you studied global trade, you would have realized how even a minor disruption can be catastrophic to global trade let; consequently, severely hurting the economies of all the countries participating in the global trade. Will you be ok if the companies end up laying off their employees due to the losses they make due to the actions of Houthis in the Red Sea and many lower-middle-class and middle-class people end up becoming jobless? I can give you multiple examples from my books to further explain this in great detail but I am sure that an intelligent person like you has understood my point.

You can also thank these bastards for giving Americans a valid excuse for having a greater presence on the Red Sea. These reckless actions by the Houthis have given the US a perfect excuse to establish a significant presence on the Red Sea. Does this not worry you at all? Do you think that this will not have any far-reaching consequences for the region?

I do not wish to post an essay on the human rights atrocities by the Houthis and how they oppress Yemeni women as my post is already quite lengthy. Yemen was already an incredibly backward country but compared to the Yemen of today, it looked like Japan. I have lived with Yemenis for +15 years in Saudi Arabia, I learned a lot from them about their country.

Last but not the least, Houthis = Iran. Iran has destabilized this region even more than the US. Iran must be contained and one of the best ways to do this is by eradicating Houthis. Houthis have hurt their Muslim brethren a thousand times more than they have hurt Israel.

Please don't be fooled by the Houthis for they are deceiving you just like the Taliban deceived our ignorant awaam.

Hi,

If you did not want to get burnt---then you should have availed the Yemen opportunity---.

Iran threat was looming on the horizon---. It was an an "anytime" threat---. Iran is an extremely volatile country---.

It should not have been unexpected---.

As a matter of fact---I was waiting for it when the US raised the bar in the region---. I knew that Iran strikes were coming---.

I cannot count how many times I have written about it---.

Pakistanis & pak military will will rue the day they rejected Yemen military assignment---.

Bad things have not yet begun to happen yet---why---because pakistanis have yet to scream in pain---.
