The purpose of being a nuclear power is to ensure your survival, deterrence, and have destructive offensive capability.

Why wouldn’t Israel use it nukes for its deterrence? Why have nukes at all then?. That’s why.

Iran will still be able to retaliate and “decapitate” the entity in a 2nd strike even if somehow its government is killed. It does not even need to use a “dirty” bomb which it 100% possesses and ready to fire.

this is funny. every time they admit their last estimate was wrong (number of missiles, number of launchers, ability to launch so many at once, ability to bypass ABM systems) they make a new estimate (this is as good as it gets)

Increasingly looks like Fattah-1 was not fired and a large number of the missiles fired were standard Emad and Ghadr, with also a large number of Kheibar Shekan (likely KS-2)

so not quite 'the best' considering Fattah-2 and Khorramshahr-4 were not used. and this ignores the fact that Iran targeted military airbases (which are large, dispersed targets) rather than civilian targets or more dense environments. also ignores the fact that ABM depletion is a real thing and that factor alone means each Iranian attack is likely to be more successful, ceteris paribus.

assuming Iranian MRBM stockpiles are as large as we think they are (tens of thousands), and Iranian launch platforms (underground missile cities) can remain functional in the face of Israeli strikes, Iran can inflict serious damage. but if either of these assumptions are faulty, it's a different question.

we also don't know how many Air Lora missiles Israel has. these are not delivered to Israel in bulk by US cargo planes. if these stocks run out, Israel will be forced to use other missiles that require them to get closer to Iranian air space and which can be more easily intercepted by Iranian air defences.

Israel should know that it is an insignificant country and that it is not prepared for a war, that their military cannot sustain a war with Iran more than a week, they should know this using force immediately if they launch an attack

The important factor here is, does Iran have an instant, prepared immediate response after Israeli attack, or if Iran will wait days before answering back

The faster and violent the response is, the better Israel will be forced to get back to reality
