A Christian soldier of the Pakistan Army was martyred in a recent terrorist attack by Khawarij terrorists. His coffin is draped in the Pakistani flag, but with a red cross embossed in the centre of the Pakistani flag

Can anyone recognise the officers in this photo taken most probably in 1979 / 80 .. First on left is Capt Qamar , then myself , next is Maj Saeed Akmal and at the right is most probably Capt. Akbar .. please excuse me if I am making any mistake about the names.

Maj. Abdul Wahab Shaheed, SJ, TBt
ex 70 LC/32 BR/6 NLI
He got TBt for capturing most wanted militants in karachi.. volunteered for posting in warzone, posted in buniyal sub sector.

He was heavily outnumbered by indian soldiers, he was told to readjust but he refused to leave his post. He made his last stand on 29 June 1999 in Kargil. His dead body is still on top of Kargil !

His 3 sons are serving in the army. His son Maj Salahuddin Wahab got TBt as well during Ops Zarb e Azb.

Lt. Gen. Muzaffar Hussain Usmani.

Commissioned in 10 FF, he was the only Deputy Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan Army. Served as Corps Commander Bahawalpur, Corps Commander Karachi and Vice Chief of General Staff as well.

In this photograph — a young Captain Abdul Mannan Siddiqui (second from the left) with other officers in 1964, during his service in the United Nations Operation in the Congo (ONUC).

He would later be promoted to Major General, serving as one of the first Master General of Ordnance and Quarter Master General of the Bangladesh Army.
He held the cabinet positions of Minister of Home Affairs and Minister of Housing and Public Works under President Hussain Muhammad Ershad.

He oversaw the modernization of the National Baitul Mukarram Mosque as well as renovation and extension of the central Shahid Minar and National Memorial when he was a public works minister during 1982-83.

Major General Siddiqui died on May 2, 2000.

Today is 54th shahadat anniversary of Lt Anwer Saeed Butt Shaheed

19th War Course Ex 32C 🇵🇰

On 29 Nov 1971, while defending jassore 2/3 of his tanks were destroyed but he kept fighting while his tank was on fire. Killed an Indian major and nuermous others before getting martyred.

During the fierce battle for Jessore in East Pakistan, 2/Lt Anwar Saeed Butt displayed gallantry of the highest order. Ldg a daring tk tp under relentless en fire, he destroyed 5 x Indian tks while continuing to engage even as two of his own tks got knocked out.

When his own tk was hit and engulfed in flames, this fearless young cavalier refused to abandon the fight. Fighting to his last breath from the burning turret, he personally accounted for an en Maj and scores of Indian sids before embracing Shahadat on the B fd.

Raised as an orphan child by the aunt who had also died before his Shahadat.
As no next of KIN was alive hence his SITARA E JURAT was received by his unit in 1971 and is still at display.

Today is 15th shahadat anniversary of Lt Shahab Hamid Bajwa Shaheed

He took part in operation Rah e rast , on 13 June he got bullet on his knee, during performing his task to clear area of Matta. He became Ghazi. 🇵🇰

On 1 June 2010, his unit mov to UN Mission to Liberia. He got severe accident and Malaria also, when he came on leave in Pakistan on 17 Nov 2010, he spend 10 days with his family. He was all fine. He was suffer with low fever and on 29 Nov 2010, at 4 PM he became suddenly unconscious and Doctor said he was passed away due to heart attack.

That was not heart attack, nobody knows even Doctors that he got a Disease Sleeping Sickness, during UN mission. This disease damage all his organs so quickly and he embraced shahadat.
