Our India headache - and how to cure it

Yeah we will go there though, we are expanding canal networks because we need to increase irrigation. But even if tomorrow our relationship normalise the Canal system won't be an issue because it'll simply be used for diverting excess water. Also no, we don't eat your salt if you are referring to the fake medicinal salt called pink salt then nobody really uses it dude, it's a niche market. We use common tablesalt it's available in our salt farms.

Stealing water is act of war, Pakistan have made it clear.

How can we steal something that is ours ?

The treaty that calls it yours is no longer in effect.
Lol. Stealing it is what broke the treaty. Do you understand cause and effect? Have a chat with @Vikramaditya1 as he seems to suffer from the same delusions as the rest of your kind.

It's not the first time you have stolen from us btw. This act led to war in the past. It will again.

Your continuous terrorist attacks in India broke it , kiddo.

Rest are just effects, whatever Indian water flows in Pakistan , you should be grateful.

India can divert or store whatever amount it can, their is no legal boundation.

Show me in the IWT where it is stated that conflict of any sort or acts of terrorism will invalidate the terms of the Treaty.

Take your time.

Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties.

Article 62 of the VCLT provides that a treaty may be terminated or withdrawn if there has been a fundamental change of circumstances, as noted by India’s former Indus Water Commissioner. India has invoked this provision in its communication to Pakistan’s Ministry of Water Resources, citing “sustained cross-border terrorism” as a fundamental shift that has created “security uncertainties” undermining the very basis on which the Treaty was concluded.

Rubbish.

We fought several actual ARMED CONFLICTS with thousands of casualties since the sIgning of the IWT and no change was requested then. To request this provision now is a simple attempt at manipulation.

This was precisely the mitigation raised during proceedings at The Hague, which was a counternarrative that was accepted by the PCA.

I stopped pointing these out. Now simply replied with "Yes we did it, because we can". Already made these points with @Master Chief but he's gonna say "have you approached world Bank or Indus water commission to complain about this? Proper mechanism yada yada yada.
