The way our neighbours, particularly Indians, are reacting is hilarious. Sadly, even some Pakistanis fail to realise the magnitude of this development. The problem is that we are not looking at the future of warfare. Imagine when Faaz II comes with a range of 200 km or potentially more, supported by Kızılelma as a loyal wingman, carrying four BVR missiles in its internal weapons bay, alongside a dedicated electronic warfare variant. Now imagine a formation of 12 such UCAVs: eight equipped with four BVR missiles each and four dedicated to electronic warfare. Think about the implications for India's ability to operate its fighter fleet in a contested airspace. This is precisely where manned unmanned teaming could give the PAF a significant advantage: extending its reach, complicating enemy operations, and potentially achieving effects without exposing Pakistani pilots to the same level of risk.
This is such a spot on comment. In future scenarios both sides will not take undue risks with premier jets. Not just as these are very valuable assets but also the propganda value of losing them (as IAF found out!) is very high.
Such missiles and UCAVs mean we can take the arial war deep into India
