So, has anyone compiled statistics on how many J-10CE pilots in the PAF wear this type of helmet? What are the tactical numbers of their corresponding fighter jets?

Based on publicly available photos, only some PAF J-10CE fighter pilots wear this type of helmet(We call it the "fly helmet."), while the remaining pilots still use the traditional Chinese "Panda" helmets.

It's available with all PAF J10C and to all pilots operational with the said aircraft.... it's mission-specific, hence u see them in some pics but not in others

That is the case not just with J10C in the PAF service but all AC that have HMD/HMS mated to them.

Speak with evidence, not with baseless claims.

The "fly helmet" is not simply a matter of replacing the helmet; it is deeply integrated with the fighter jet's sensor system.

Not all J-10CE aircraft support this type of helmet. Not all J-10CE aircraft require this configuration.

All aircraft are configured for this. Not all sortie’s require the helmet.
Every F-16 in PAF supports JHMCS - but not every flight has pilots flying with them and they use the traditional HGU-55.

Reason for this is also tied to weight on pilots neck and shoulders but also operational reasons.

There are news in different , bonafied media that a few more countries have placed orderes for J-10C and China will provided them. J-10c plant ,probable has been moved to a new location but could not be closed.
While , due to shortage of money, India asked Russia to provide some SU-57 now and rest should be made in India. But Russia refused. Russia want full payment. Russia is upgrading old Indian SU-30 since several months but is very slow due to unavalability of Indian money.
Furthermore, Pakistan Army has been paying money from its budget. Sharif family government, has limited $$ in their pocket.
If there was no money then why Pakistan Army is buying J-35 now (expected in 2026). ?

It’s the same stuff from AFM - this gentleman needs to stop relying on “British” or “Somalian” sources because the Indians are just that with “Bulgaria” or “Australia”.

Air Forces Monthly is reputable - as if Combat Aircraft. Both are from Key Publishing which caters to multiple audiences.

The source is Alan Warnes - his writing style is now more biased towards Pakistan but the overall issue tried to balance out claims later.
