Pakistanis will know there is a particular kind of dialogue our ambassadors and politicians hold with foreign countries, and weapons procurement dialogue is not from amongst them.

However, the ambassador being found at AVIC is indeed a surprise. Any chance he is ex-armed forces as opposed to career foreign office?

Well, since published in the Nationalnterest I would take it with a huge grain of salt… they often base their reports on any rumours and present it as facts.

So far we've only seen 20. Usually, we'd get rumours of the PAF raising a new squadron or prepping one for conversion ahead of a delivery. However, no such rumours yet.
