Why would we don't face Rafale in current exercise with Qatar,? Its unique opportunity for PAF to develop tactics against Rafales using J10C

It's ok to think it's ugly, just don't tell Windjammer about it.

A-10 may not be good looking aircraft but it delivers a punch that Mike Tyson could only dream about. The comuflage is very effective for it's purpose like this Phantom .

No enhancement/upgrade in Typhoons in 15 years?

Also dogfights means non-BVR, right? Perhaps result in BVR scenario could be different?

The ones against Italian Typhoons in 2008 were WVR scenario but later it were the MLU Vipers that fleeced Saudi Typhoons and Eagles in both scenarios.

It was cute the first time, but now it's just plain cringe.

Whoever thought using this camouflage was a good idea on the J-10, instead of the default grey should immediately be fired.

Had the Trump military aid fiasco not happened and the PAF got more F-16s, then who knows, they may have very well ordered the Typhoon.

Still the best 4.5gen fighter in the world imo

If J-10 is replacing F-16 for nuclear related roles, it makes sense to have a cameo that blends in with Indo-Gangetic plain landscape. This helps negate the WVR advantage of flankers.

PAF should try and push for Qatar Rafales and PLAAF SU-30s to stay at CCS on a semi-regular basis. Excellent learning potential against the IAF's two most important assets and the more PAF Squadrons we can expose to DACT against these assets, the better we will fair in wartime. IAF has no chance to train against J-10s and JF-17s and only limited opportunities against F-16s

Was A-10 a boxer too? Oh Wait.....I'm sorry it's Mike Tyson that was an aircraft.
Joking aside, the Punch is of course irrelevant to the Paintjob , but that is kind of my point! Punch would be the same with better paint scheme also. BTW A-10 looks have nothing to do with its paint job, rather design. And design wise J-10C is quite good looking.

Was the aircraft flying at the time? For how many milli seconds did it manage to hold that pose? Oh and if it was flying, was it hiding from a lightning strike?

Thanks, but do we know for sure if it was both scenarios? WVR & BVR?
I'm asking because the Alan warnes tweet you shared says 'during manueuvres' which could mean WVR and doesn't say anything more.

And also pilot skill would make a lot of difference also.

I believe the Air Chief is already on his way out, unless, he too is getting an extension .

On a another matter...
I gotta say, seeing the EFT & J-10 side-by-side - it's shocking how the two look similar in size & design.

Although, I do need to look up as to how much the J-10 can carry on its hard points, 'cause the EFT is Bomb Truck.
