The PLA fighter manufacturer doesn't know what their potential customers wanna see. The customer wanna see J10c air combat beast mode carrys 8 air to air missiles at the same time, replace the fuel tank at belly with 2 PL12 will do it's magic . those military marketing people are either retarded or don't know what should be done.

I'd like to see PL-15 on J-10C wingtips. Maybe wishful thinking?

Aerodynamic layout limitations: The J-10 series uses a pointed delta wing plus canard layout. The delta wing has a large sweep angle and the wing tip is far back. Mounting missiles will lengthen the force arm to the center of gravity, affecting the stability of the aircraft. At the same time, in order to reduce the drag of supersonic flight and the aerodynamic drag during high-maneuver flight, the wing tips on both sides are pointed, which makes it impossible to arrange the wing tips like other fighters.

In the current scenario of standoff between Pakistan and India we can see new J-10CEs landing soon in Pakistan.

Yes, we all know on the wingtip there is no pylon!

Why? Only due to a standoff will the PLAAF never deliver their own birds and factory fresh ones need time to build ... again wishful thinking as if the situation is already out of hand!

I can see them placing another order as a hurry up, maybe funded by the other services given the lead role of the PAF in this issue and importance of airpower.

Could this be the first Batch 02 J-10CE for Pakistan?

Allegedly a J-10C was seen over or close to CAC and quite strangely - if I read it correctly - its construction number looks like 0210 or 021x?That is strange since regular PLAAF J-10Cs from Batch 02 had no WS-10B or it is a Batch 02 J-10CE? Maybe for Pakistan?

Gentlemen, greetings to you all. This is my first interaction in the forum. Please excuse any mistake from my end and be kind enough to correct me.

Has anybody been able to find out who the customer is? Since the picture came out i have been restlessly trying find out. In the press release of Dr. Yunus's meeting in china, it was very briefly mentioned that he talked about procuring fighter aircrafts from China.

Perhaps if things escalate towards a high-intensity, full-fledged war, but just for a standoff or even in case of small skirmish, I don't think that's going to happen.

I was not talking to PLAAF own birds. We know they are different and also make no sense at all.
I was talking about remaining J-10CE (out of 36?) and just an expedited delivery.

PAF's last order totaled 20 J-10CEs, all of which have been delivered.
As of now, there is no reliable information that PAF has placed an additional order for the J-10CE.

Of course, I don't rule out the existence of hidden orders.

If any of you have a professional-grade satellite imagery service, keep an eye on the production plant tarmac. ------ Production of the J-10CE has been moved from the CAC Chengdu factory to the Guiyang factory.

There have been no recent developments in Chinese social media.

This is only my opinion. Pakistan will probably hold off on further J-10s in favor of the J-35. Unless war erupts, which I don't believe it will any time soon.

This is Pakistan's legitimate right. China's J-10CE, J-35, PL-10E, PL-15E and other air combat weapons are open to PAF. If PAF needs them, they can place orders at any time. China's military industrial enterprises can fully guarantee the quality of products and delivery time.

But, I would be very happy if PAF can place an order for J-35 this year.
Someone will buy me a big dinner for the result.LOL......

recent photo of Batch 2 from April 2025 of J10CE have been flying at CAC

we dont know if that is the Egyptian order or the second follow on order from Pakistan

time will tell but more J10CEs are planned and even being produced for a foreign customer

New order will give no edge in this situation....

Only edge can be if china can lend few birds from there on inventory for curtain time quickly (only if they want too)
