Countries like Egypt, Algeria, Morrcco, Iraq, Qatar, Azerbaijan, Malaysia and Indonesia must be seriously considering this now. Saudis, Emeratis, Brazilians, Greeks, Thais, already operate it. Even if performance is not as good as E-7, it is not far off and with E-7 US will not allow foreign data link integration.

The foreign datalink integration is indeed a major variable countries should consider. Not just radar data but sharing of ESM and EW data with a powerful enough (high bandwidth) datalink, extending the range of detection.

Yep - there were many "claims" made by both friends and foe regarding Link-17.
They are have no idea what they're up against.

China should market the J-10CE with an AWACS/EW/ISR platform and SAM systems as part of an ecosystem to deal with evolving modern hostile threats.

J-10 C is vastly superior to Brazil's Gripen E. It would give Colombia an edge over Brazil.

Gripen c/d of Thai Royal airforce was slaughtered by PLAAf J10c during joint exercise held in Thailand last year.
In the simulated air combat, the J-10C defeated the Gripen c/d with a score of 9:1.
I'm looking forward to see a showdown between J10c and F16V in the near future.

It was reported that J-10CE scored its first air-to-air kills on May 7, 2025 when it liekly shot down multiple IAF fighter aircraft with the PL-15E long-range AAM over Kashmir. The downed aircraft may include Rafale, Mig-29UPG, Su-30MKI or Mirage 2000. This victory, if confirmed,(confirmed)could significantly boost it export prospect on the internaitonal market. Besides PAF, Egypt and Bangladesh have also showed strong interests in J-10CE.

PLAAF's Golden Helmet competition is a traditional competition that focuses on the individual capabilities of fighter pilots (two-fighter formation including wingman). It is similar to the Army's Individual Skills Competition.

In PLAAF's modern systematic air combat thinking, individual ability is no longer the decisive factor in air combat victory, but relies more on the support of the air combat system. Of course, individual ability is still important.

Previously, this competition was top secret. But now, it should be moderately open to friendly nations. We can invite some friendly countries to participate in the competition and develop the Golden Helmet competition into an international competition.

Of course, this is my personal suggestion.

In fact, we have a complete range of complete solutions.

But the complete package is so expensive that few countries can afford it. This is not because Chinese weapons are too expensive. Rather, they are facing a complete overhaul of all their current weapons systems. That would be a very large expenditure.
