-China-Pakistan military exercise 2019 :
5 J-16s killed all sides and shot down 51 military aircraft, including 14 J-10Cs! An article published in a military magazine. When introducing its own combat record, a certain brigade of the Air Force Aviation Corps said that in the 2019 China-Pakistan "Eagle VIII" joint air force confrontation military exercise, the brigade dispatched 5 J-16 fighters, organized 11 sessions and flew 70 sorties during the period; a total of 51 blue army aircraft were shot down, including 14 J-10Cs, 3 J-11Bs, 1 J-11BS, 11 JF17, 13 Mirage Vs, and 9 J-7PGs. This military exercise is the first time that the brigade has carried out joint training with foreign troops. The brigade has completed research on the attack envelope and evasion methods of a certain type of missile, and verified the tactics of mixing the J-16 with a certain type of aircraft, the feasibility of high-throw launches (missiles) at a certain altitude range, and the interception and resolution capabilities of the J-16 airborne radar against a certain type of formation.

At Chengdu , Yellow primer new airframe being test flown for a new batch for an export customer J10CE spotted.
With production line of J-10CE already shifted to Guizhou some time back, this indicates potential tweeks or modifications which need to be fully tested at Chengdu.
