if 8-0 whats the 8th kill i mean which jet is it?

The original contract for J10c was for 20 planes plus with an option of 16 more planes. Anyone wants to speculate if the number is going to stay same (in terms of orders only) this year?

south asians finding every way to make themselves look unprofessional.

Firstly, pilots/servicemembers shouldnt be speaking to the public like this IMO. We have DGPR etc for this. It creates the possibility for confusion but also could create issues wrt narrative. Just diminishes credibility. Like, wasn't it 6-0 first, then 7-0, now its 8-0? IMO its very childish and unprofessional the way they plaster these numbers around, almost feels like they have to prove a point. Look at the way others do it.

Also, just in general, our PR game is shit. DGISPR making jokes about Kashmir rescuing India is so cringe. Hes like a deranged unhinged uncle at a party, except he holds an important post and just spews nonsense

AVM Ghazi said the “confirmed kills” included four Rafales, one Su-30, one MiG-29, one Mirage 2000 and an “expensive multi-role unmanned aerial system” (likely Isreoli drone).

The 8th merely refers to UAV which has been a claim from day 1.

6-0 (initial claim) : When status of 4th Damaged Rafale was unknown
7-0 (Revised claim) : 4th Rafale confirmed by intel to be written off. Same reported by Alan Warnes.
8-0 : Just if we include the UAV kill as also said by the AVM Ghazi in presser.

However, i agree that these guys should refrain from excessive TC of CAS. It doesn't sound good. This has sadly become sort of culture in forces.

Yes, DG ISPR conducted with immaturity. However, it wasn't meant for international audience. It was in Urdu and meant for only domestic consumption.
