That is because J-10s/JF-17s are IFR capable, F-16s aren't given we don't have a tanker for them. Second, as we are all aware, the longest stick is with the J-10s and JF-17. So these things had to be catered for.Yes - No 9 Sqn played an important role in the escort plan but it were J10s which went all the way into Iran with CDF.
It's just the memefication of global politics IMO.south asians finding every way to make themselves look unprofessional.
Firstly, pilots/servicemembers shouldnt be speaking to the public like this IMO. We have DGPR etc for this. It creates the possibility for confusion but also could create issues wrt narrative. Just diminishes credibility. Like, wasn't it 6-0 first, then 7-0, now its 8-0? IMO its very childish and unprofessional the way they plaster these numbers around, almost feels like they have to prove a point. Look at the way others do it.
Also, just in general, our PR game is shit. DGISPR making jokes about Kashmir rescuing India is so cringe. Hes like a deranged unhinged uncle at a party, except he holds an important post and just spews nonsense
Why was such an escort necessary?? I can understand the Iranians fearing for their lives while travelling to Islamabad but the why would the CDF need an escort flying into Tehran??That is because J-10s/JF-17s are IFR capable, F-16s aren't given we don't have a tanker for them. Second, as we are all aware, the longest stick is with the J-10s and JF-17. So these things had to be catered for.
Do they have any other option to maintain their sanity? Anyway, the case of Shirk is in fact a case of clinical level psychosis....Let the enemy underestimate us so they're not having to impose an arms race on us.
Misinformation and lack of information makes perfect sense here.
I don't know why Pakistan could even hallucinate that a block 70 upgrade is possible, most likely PAF would use these F-16s as the last line of defence for base defence until they fly into the sunset, which is sad. Someone should ask the Americans how they feel they made their star fighter platform toothless just for politics in the hands of one of the few air forces that brought the coveted kills for their platform. You are jumping to conclusions. Pakistan will squeeze one more upgrade for the fleet inshallah which will keep the Viper relevant till 2040+ timeframe.
In the MR capacity, F-16s are a huge value-add. No other platform can carry as much ordnance and deliver it with as much precision as the F-16s (specially the blk-52s and others that have been upgraded to Blk-52 specification ~ together these number close to 55 so this is 3 squadrons worth of capability which is huge and should be invested in and maintained.)
if upgraded to Blk-70 standard, F-16s would be the platform of choice after the stealth J-35s. Lot of "ifs" here but anything is possible.
Letting the world believe we're getting J-35AEs by the end of the year is literally the opposite of letting the enemy "underestimate us."Let the enemy underestimate us so they're not having to impose an arms race on us.

Just the same way 2005 happened after 1982. Nobody expected 2005 to happen but it did.I don't know why Pakistan could even hallucinate that a block 70 upgrade is possible, most likely PAF would use these F-16s as the last line of defence for base defence until they fly into the sunset, which is sad. It was an active war-zone. Pakistan was trying to broker peace. Peace was not at-hand then. Iranians could not provide the security of our officials and given that Israeli bastards had already struck Doha, there was a precedence. Why was such an escort necessary?? I can understand the Iranians fearing for their lives while travelling to Islamabad but the why would the CDF need an escort flying into Tehran??

Always the bald ones.. lolExceptional fighter pilot. One of those meant for this job.
No official has made that statement to date. It is hearsay from the Mamoo Network.Letting the world believe we're getting J-35AEs by the end of the year is literally the opposite of letting the enemy "underestimate us."
And 29ers, they were with CDF too. They are being lead by an exemplary leader. A real maverick.Yes - No 9 Sqn played an important role in the escort plan but it were J10s which went all the way into Iran with CDF.
