When they start to phase out J-10C would be my best guess.

he is talking in PAF not in PLAAF, and J-10C is not going to replace by J-35, J-10C is a bran new jet, you want to retire brand new jet? J-10C is not going anywhere long time to come in PLAAF, J-35 will replace remaining J-7/J-8 and old J-10A/J-10S but not J-10C

J10 production will most likely be stopped, aswell as J16s, J11s and replaced by J20s and J35s till 2035 when China will start induction of J36 and J50s. Already China has 1800 4th, 4.5th and 5th generation planes, I wonder what is the maximum number they want? 2500?

F16s, J10cs, Jf17 block 3s are enough till India inducts 5th generation plane but I guess paf has a better opinion.

When could be the first delivery?

As of now, we have not seen any official news of PAF buying J-35.
The only official news is PAF General's announcement that “J-31 (J-35) is coming soon ......” ------ But this is not a legalistic official news.
From the official news so far, PAF's purchase of J-35 is still not confirmed. While we all believe that PAF will buy J-35, it could still change or even nothing will happen.

Extrapolating from SAC's current situation, if all goes well, the J-35 will begin production in 2026.

Production will start in 2026, according to well respected Chinese member @Michael SAC factory (specifically building for J35 production)is shifting/moving to the new place in China

And first customer will be PLAAF/PLAN not PAF

Keep living in your utopia and fantasy world that we will induct J35 in Dec 2026, J35 will come to PAF as early as 2030-2032, we are not have a threats that our enemy have or near future will have 5th gen jet

my source is the same one who broke the news of J10C for PaF, 2 years before it was inducted, down to the month, and he was spot on. in defence.pk website, i have track record of 3 predictions down to the month and they all were spot on..

The point is Zarvan as much as I admire his enthusiasm has not really a good track resond and Mastankhan posts or better to say posted anything as long as it it was false and contradicts especially my opinion so he can then again continue his insults. He was never interested in facts!

And yes, "we know now J35As are at advanced level" but that is a relative term and even more related towards PLAAF service only, but does not mean it will be introduced in the PAF soon!

This was not my claim. It was Air Chief who openly announced it. I was saying the obvious that if PAF chief is announcing it that probably means jet will be inducted at best in two years time.
