Well looks like there is no need for J-35s anymore when US is offering Pakistan F-22 Raptors. I wonder how many will US offer?

If Pakistan is trying to use HQ-19 to intercept a missile of the caliber of the Brahmos, there is a Chinese proverb “高射炮打蚊子大材小用” which means to hit a mosquito with an anti-aircraft gun.

No if HQ-19 is acquired it will not because of Brahmos but for the ballistic missile threats as we lack missile defense system.

Moreover after acquiring number mid and long range SAM system from China acquisition of HQ-19 is a natural progression of the missile based air defense capabilities of Pakistan

I don't think J35's Radome extend to that length. Here you can see more gap between IRST housing and Radome compared to F35.

Jokes aside, we know that US will never offer this. But what is the possibility that during COAS meeting with US Establishment, the US is pressuring Pakistan to NOT INDUCT J-35s because it knows that J-35 induction will give PAF a massive advantage over India and others in the region ??

I believe that US would want access to pakistani air bases next to iran--pakistan not interfere in US strikes---no weapons supply to iran.

Pakistan providing bases to the US against Iran would be extremely disastrous. There is a large Shia population in Pakistan who are MORE LOYAL TO IRAN THAN PAKISTAN and chance of civil war and terrorism will increase many folds.
