Surely Pakistan will get them, no-one denies this, but they won’t come in about 6-8 weeks or even this year, IMO they won’t come before 2027 and they surely won’t be delivered to Pakistan first before the PLAAF since they don‘t know how to make a fighter combat-ready! That’s my Point.

Pakistan confirms acquisition of Chinese J-35 stealth fighters and integrated air defence systems - Defence Industry Europe

Pakistan has officially confirmed the acquisition of up to 40 Chinese J-35 fifth-generation stealth fighter jets, making it the first international operator of China’s newest stealth aircraft. The deal marks one of Pakistan’s most significant military modernisation efforts in recent years...
According to official government announcements on social media, the acquisition also includes KJ-500 airborne early warning and control aircraft and HQ-19 ballistic missile defence systems. These additions represent a comprehensive upgrade to Pakistan’s aerial

Who will he pulling high Gs considering the BVR engagements and we may not see WVR..I don't like the ejection seat angle it should be at least as inclined as thunders for better G tolerance if not that of the f16s. Nevertheless, great news for the PAF.
Pakistani government has never, ever disclosed when weapons transfers would take place (unless the foreign supplier provides this information). This has been a policy of old.

J-36 is over over kill in South Asia, not gonna happened in two decades.Defense minister said no so it means all this was a lie by Pakistani government. They tweeted it from official page. I agree that China will never give Pakistan j-20. May be they will give it when they make their own 7th or 8th generation jet. J-36 looks very impressive.I Think Pakistan has original pl-15. Obviously it's a secret between two countries. China knows requirements of PAF and trying their best to assist. Official position is pl-15e.
I will not mind if we aren't getting j-35. What i want is a jet that fires everything like j-16 of China. We need J-16. There is no point of buying j-35. India doesn't even have a fifth generation jet.
Just throwing it out there, but "delivery" can also easily mean having a PAF team receive a J-35AE in PAF livery in China, but the fighter would remain in China until platform tests, training, and PAF logistics are all complete. Not that I ever claim to know everything—I’m not collecting cherry points for twilight years, huzoor.
For the sake of clarity, let’s align on terminology:
Where opinions diverge is the claim that J-35s are currently on Pakistani soil in operational configuration.
- Customer confirmed: This has been established and is no longer contentious.
- PAF pilot training: Also confirmed through multiple reliable channels.
- PAF access to J-35 airframes: This is now fairly evident given the patterns of training and exposure.
That’s the assertion under dispute.
To draw a parallel, recall the F-35 program: Dutch, Turkish (prior to their program exit), and RAF pilots all trained extensively in the US. They flew prototypes and LRIP units, many of which were earmarked for eventual delivery. Yet those aircraft remained at stateside bases like Luke AFB until all operational clearances, political conditions, and basing logistics were in place.
So yes, pilot access and exposure to systems is part of the playbook. But a few familiarization flights in-country or abroad do not equate to full operational deployment.
We should perhaps resist the temptation to promote every bit of hearsay overheard in aviation-themed drawing rooms or whatsapp chats into “geo-strategic confirmation.”
You do realise that it leaves airbases vulnerable to ballistic missiles if not cruise missiles? Our highest priority is point defense systems for important / strategic locations like airbases.
Considering vulnerable iranian and afghan airspace where entity can fly freely to long ranges we must prepare accordingly….. we need to secure iranian airspace incase of hostilities against iran itself for their and our own securityJ-36 is over over kill in South Asia, not gonna happened in two decades.
