Everyone who got excited on GOP tweet of KJ500, HQ19 and J-35s. Well I have to tell that take it with truckload of salt.
First let's see the credibility of GOP twitter handles. The ones who operates these twitter handles are the ones who operated their own political party twitter handles as well. We know their credibility & competence. We have seen the jingoism. Those guys have even used a game's screenshot during the indo-pak conflict.

Now, that tweet for KJ500, HQ19 & J-35 was total BS. That's why it got deleted next day. I know exactly where these three things come from. A few day earlier to that tweet an indian analyst Praveen Sawnhey (of whom Pakistanis are fan of, because he is critic of indian military) said that in his "analysis" Pakistan will aquire KJ500, HQ19 and J35s in future. So whoever political people were handling social media accounts of Govt took exactly those to flare up Pakistanis emotions and put in the tweet and that got deleted next day.
Now let's see these things one by one.
1- KJ500. Not going to happen, As PAF is solely committed to Saab platform. even the current chinese AEWCs were retired in favor of more Saab platforms. PAF operating nearly 10 of Saab's AEW&C. There's absolutely no shortage of these given Pak's airspace.
2- HQ 19. Its not even for export as far as I know. Secondly, Pakistan do not need a ballistic missile defense at the moment. Our highest priority is point defense systems for important / strategic locations like airbases. For this we need HQ-10s or HQ-17s or western counterparts. Not super expensive HQ-19 (which isn't even for export atm)
3- J-35s. In this case, the surprise was already removed when CAS Siddhu announced it about a year or two ago. He was referring to PAF's future planning. We need to understand, we only have 20 J-10CE at the moment for which the installments have to be paid till 2029 (according to some unverified document, but neverthess we know our economic situation and its obvious these equipments are very expensive) . So let's be realistic, there isn't a lot of billions of dollars laying around and there isn't any 5th gen fighters within India right now. What I see is another batch of J-10C maybe in 1-3 yrs and then probably a batch of J-35s later this decade.
Alright folks it’s time to separate fact from fiction, because YouTube rumor mills are in overdrive again.
Let’s be clear, Pakistan isn’t scrambling to buy jets overnight. These clickbait claims like “J-35 arriving in August!” or “Confirmed delivery in December!” are just noise. When there’s real news, it’ll come from official sources, and not from some self-appointed aviation guru online.
As for the J-10C, yes, all are on track. No panic needed. They’re arriving on schedule, and the rest of the defense acquisitions will roll out when strategic conditions are right.
Meanwhile, global fighter jet dynamics are shifting, Iran’s eyeing J-10s, Turkey will buy Eurofighters, and the game is evolving. Pakistan has a plan tailored to its needs, budget, and regional calculus.
So instead of chasing rumors, let’s trust the process and stay focused.
Another YouTube channel spreading fake news that Chinese are working on upgraded stealthier version of J-10. It’s crazy that some of Pakistani mainstream TV channels take these fake news seriously and create shows based on that.
