PAF J-35AE - News, Updates and Discussions

Simple question did PAF got j35 yet ? What was the surprise for Aug 14 that I missed ?
Maryam Nawaz was there and other CMs were not invited.

5th generation fighter is not K-8, it requires special equipment & infrastructure. Do we have that ?

Didn’t I tell you that ?

14th Aug, 2029 is more likely.

Order for 20 more J-10Cs and 20 more JF-17Cs could be in making as of now. That's already lot billions of dollars. Given how economy is wrecked in last few years so it will still be an ideal and best case scenario, if we are able to get 40 4.5 gen fighters in next 3-4 years and also start receiving deliveries for 5th gen.

P.S: 14th aug date is TOTALLY irrelevant in military equipment acquisition. If deliveries are happening around such dates like 23rd march, 14th aug then government can delay the induction by few days to match it with the occasion. Otherwise it could be Any date.

OMG! Who are these idiots in the buggy ? How pathetic really. Its okay for the President / head of the state for this protocol. But anyone else doing these cheap acts needs to be fired.

I'll be blunt. Way too many of you took DJ ISPR's words to heart. This is the same man that can't do a professional presser by the way. At best the surpise probably was going to be new ARFC assets (F3 and F5), some NASTP projects and mock ups, New AD and some stuff alluding to it.

Lol I do wonder if that projector display at that Yadgar-e-Fatah monument was the true surprise. Regardless, J-35 is genuine cope. PLAAF barely has 5 airframes, SAC's new factory is still under tooling, J-35A/AE haven't been operationalised yet and are still in LRIP. What makes you think PAF would get in a couple of months time. PAF truly takes their time in evaluating a platform before they go ahead with the induction. It took PAF 15 years after first evaluating J-10s before we actually got em.
