I read that the first two JF-17 Thunders arrived in Pakistan in a disassembled state on 02 March 2007.

When you say people saw them earlier, I am assuming you mean prior to 02 March 2007. Should I take that to mean they had already been delivered to Pakistan, or that they were flying/testing in Pakistan before returning to China to be formally delivered later?

I am very curious now.

The following is the current established timeline.

Date	Event
02 March 2007	The first two JF-17 Thunders arrived at Kamra, Pakistan, in disassembled form.
10 March 2007	The two aircraft conducted their first flights in Pakistan.
12 March 2007	The arrival ceremony at PAC Kamra was publicly reported. The aircraft were to undergo further PAF flight testing and evaluation.
23 March 2007	The two JF-17s made their public debut during the Pakistan Day parade in Islamabad.

Prior to parade -
I actually attended that parade.
