Pakistan is a good salesperson for the Chinese weapons, after Pakistan buys and tries certain Chinese weapons, other countries, especially Islamic countries usually soon follow suit, they all wait and see Pakistan to try those weapons first.

Yes, there are two and maybe we have also seen a third one - by the way, do you remember by post a few weeks ago, where I told you I have satellite images showing three J-31 (now J-35A) at SAC?? - but the discussion on its engine si not yet conclusive, but they are indeed using two different engines. The question is, are these WS-13E and WS-21 or WS-21 and WS-19!

Yes I do remember if you are talking about image of Jet in factory, what I asked is about in this show. Anyway thanks for confirmation.

Regarding engine isn't WS13E/WS13IPE/WS21 same engine?
I think I saw a post of @Michael who confirm one of the Jet is equiped with WS19. Not remember at which thread.
If two different plane used two different engine and one is WS19 then the other is probably WS21.

What are the chances of the WS19/21 being used to upgrade the PAF's JF-17s as part of an MLU? And maybe even the mythical JF-17X if that's still going ahead? Would make sense to harmonise on a single engine type supply chain, assuming the J-35A is eventually adopted by the PAF.

Chinese nicknames calls all its fighters the "龙(Dragon)" series.

J-20 series, Chinese nicknames for “威龙”. Hanyu Pinyin: Wei Long​

“威,” which means mighty power and awe-inspiring aura.​

J-16 series, Chinese nicknames for “潜龙”. Hanyu Pinyin: Qian Long​

“潜”, in its original meaning, means to be submerged in water and to be active underwater. For example, the Chinese word for submarine is “潜艇”.​

J-10 series, Chinese nicknames for “猛龙”. Hanyu Pinyin: Meng Long​

“猛”. Its original meaning is tough and fierce.​

These Chinese nicknames have many meanings, but my English is not good enough to explain them clearly. Wikipedia is a direct translation and they are not accurate.
