So while their production capacity is approx 110 per year / the missiles have a shelf life of 12 years before needing full overhaul. So do the math on what they need to replace vs whats new.

They also have Agni-P, which I believe is the primary target of HQ-19. I don't know if SRBM like Agni P can be soft killed.

That is also a false concept that India will launch 500 brahmos in one go.
See the Israel - Iran conflict as example.
There is a force escalation level India wants to keep and at max can launch 100 simultaneously - which is an impressive number and no mean fear but then it has to consider reloads of the TeLs or ship magazines / aircraft turnaround since there are barely 36 MKis capable of carrying it of which only 50% are serviceable at any time.

So let’s say they launch a 100 or even 150 then they are sitting around waiting to not be able to do much than token 1-3 launches in case many of those launched are spoofed intercepted. Then even in shoot and scoot mode for ground systems they have given positions away so they need to give time for relocation as well.

Finally, out of their stock of ~900 they have to factor in what they want to keep for China because they have that headache whereas Pakistan is purely focused on them and has a different force deployment metric.

You really don't understand China at all.

China has always enforced very strict news censorship. No foreign media outlets are allowed to operate in China. China's internet is the largest “LAN” in the world. All the foreign social media platforms you know, such as Twitter and Facebook, are banned in China. Even TikTok, which is owned by a Chinese company, cannot be used in China (we use its other version, Douyin) ...

In China, using a VPN to bypass the GFW is illegal. ------ The current controls are not as strict as they once were.

So, how do American media influence us?

1. BrahMos is very “famous” around the world. It is famous for its extremely poor reliability and low accuracy. According to NATO and Chinese military weapon system standards, it is a product that should have been phased out long ago.

2. India can only produce simple components and perform final assembly for BrahMos. They cannot produce the engine and guidance system. These components come from Russia. However, Russia cannot mass-produce these components either. Therefore, you can assess how many BrahMos missiles India actually possesses. @Oscar has already explained the situation to you.

3. Years ago, Pakistan raised concerns with China regarding the BrahMos missile. China developed the CM-400 AKG based on an improved version of the YJ-12. It is much smaller than the BrahMos but has significantly higher reliability and accuracy. The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has already purchased some CM-400 AKGs.

Both Pakistan and India have a tradition of “bluffing,” though the extent varies slightly between the two countries. The situation in India is more severe.

I don't like the ejection seat angle it should be at least as inclined as thunders for better G tolerance if not that of the f16s. Nevertheless, great news for the PAF.

That message might say it, but that picture is not a J-35A considering how that canopy opens. Unless it’s training on a Prototype.

Two Russian products stand out that Russians didnt want for own forces. Su30 and P800 Onyx. They joke about both on their forums and how they took Indians for a ride by selling them both. P800 has loads of issues of its own and MKI is a known story. That thing doesn't even have a proper MAWS system to this day. The radar throws so much heat it's not even funny. Weapon integration is another joke and using EW and jammers of different make causes disruption with radar and avionics. Gosh who would want this piece of trash? Never mind.

First Customer is China itself (PLA Navy Airforce), but first customer does not mean they also get first deliveries.

are they getting any rare earth magnets from China to make their Brahamos
 
Finally, Alhamdolillah.

PAF will get extensive 5Gen fighter experience ahead of IAF InshaAllah as Indian options are very limited and those on the table are not very ideal. Their own homegrown fighter is minimum 10-15 years away provided everything goes as per plan without any roadblocks like we saw in Tejas program.
