Here's the thing, how well does designing a MRAP (which was built only in very small numbers) translate to designing and building a CIWS? This is likely a case of them trying get funding for a project that is nothing more then a brochure

That’s tangential discussion. What was meant was it’s not that all they say turns out to be pure vaporware. Trying to get funding is a very normal practice.

Another thing that should be kept in mind is that we don't know exactly how good was Hamza MRAP. It was never bought by the army and we only saw 2-3 short clips hinting about them being on trials a few years ago but nothing followed up.
Another thing, which is not related to the thread but I think needs to be said here, is that for the past few years, there website doesn't seem to be working proparly either which lines up perfectly with what Ak01 said about them.
