On 3rd September, 1965, F/O Abbas Mirza, flying this 104, serial number 56-877 made the high speed passes and forced the indian Gnats to disengage from the dogfight with the sabres. Another F-104 joined the fight and forced the indian Gnat to land at PAF airfield Pasrur.
This aircraft had a mid air collision with an IAF Mystere during the dogfight on 7th September, 1965.The pilot ejected safely but the Indian pilot did not survive.
