- Details regarding the arrested individuals or their identities have not been disclosed.
- Notably, after the Taliban takeover, the TTP has been operating freely in Afghanistan, running training camps, recruiting Afghan citizens, and utilizing Afghan territory for attacks on Pakistan and its citizens
- The Government of Pakistan has presented substantial evidence to the IAG regarding the TTP's activities, yet the IAG consistently denies their presence on Afghan soil.
- Qani's statement is merely political rhetoric with no substantive point.

Afghanistan presents the most serious and immediate security risk to Pakistan and its interests. The TTA have proven to be complicit in providing safe-harbor, financial, material and ideological support to the enemies of the state. To quote Director PIPS "this akin to declaring war against the state of Pakistan.".

I did say during the US exit that Pakistan needed to be far more engaged in Afghanistan on every front, not just militarily, but domestic politics coupled with various international factors forestalled any work on this front, we have once again been found wanting. I remember buying the "Avenge APS" patch some years back as a reminder that we must never let this pit vipers harm another innocent ever again. Yet after all these years, warm words and hot air do not actions make.

Deeds, not words. To this end I feel that the present tour of the COAS in the US is very much a welcome step, all the right noises are coming out of America right now:

🔺Ten TTP commanders attended (We've Names), where Noor Wali Mehsud was briefed on recent attacks in DI Khan, the formation of Ansar Al Jihad, progress of TJP, acquisition of US leftover weaponry, and recruitment of #Afghan and foreign fighters.

- Specifically, TTP Suicide Bombing's Chief Mukhlis Yar was instructed by Noor Wali Mehsud to recruit Afghan citizens, particularly children, for suicide bombings.

- During the meeting, commanders revealed that 150-160 newly recruited #Afghan citizens were trained and prepared for deployment against Pakistan.

🔺Noor Wali Mehsud also disclosed receiving a significant amount from a neighboring country of Pakistan to fund TTP operations.

- He directed commanders to target civilians in South and North Waziristan who resist extortion or oppose TTP.

🔺The #Afghan interim government consistently denies the presence of the TTP on Afghan soil and the use of Afghan territory against Pakistan.

- However, the reality is that the entire TTP leadership is located on Afghan soil, with training camps operating freely and orchestrating attacks on Pakistan from Afghan territory.

- The Afghan government should cease deceiving the international community and neighboring countries, taking decisive action against these elements and putting an end to the use of Afghan soil against its neighboring nations.

Does somebody know if the fence has been completed along both the Afghan and Iranian borders with Pakistan?

The border fencing with Afghanistan is finished, but not entirely under observation and left neglected.

The purposeful failure of the military establishment to complete the fencing along the Iranian border in order to be benefitted from oil smuggling.

Does somebody know if the fence has been completed along both the Afghan and Iranian borders with Pakistan?
94% of the fence was completed in Oct 2023. A fence or wall no matter how tall is a passive security measure, what is needed is active border control which is difficult considering the size and terrain. Greece, Turkey, US have all built some form of physical barrier, it has not stopped the flow of people.

So we are left with proactive measures to curtail this menace.

Yes, that. Only I ran out of words. :D
