helicopters in this day and age of warfare are pretty much only good for medevac or logistic roles. I honestly don't think the combat game for helis is really that important in this generation of warfare. Could be wrong, I am not military, I just do not see them being used on current fronts like Ukraine.

Helicopters have value in modern naval warfare. For example, early warning helicopters and anti-submarine helicopters. Rescue helicopters are generally deployed on frigates, while transport helicopters are used for the transportation of personnel and small amounts of supplies between ships.

In the Russia-Ukraine war, helicopters were used in battles at the beginning of the conflict. In the battle for Antonov Airport, Russia used a large number of helicopters, including the Mi-8AMTSh-VN Hip Flanker assault transport helicopter, the Mi-24PN attack helicopter, and the Ka-52 Alligator attack helicopter. The assault forces successfully took control of the airport, but the follow-up troops failed to arrive in time.
