Where do we go from here now?

Lol the type of 'shariah' in Afghanistan!
That trash is not shariah but their twisted, weird superstation mixed with that they think Islam could be.
Banning women from speaking.
Banning female health officials.
Banning female schools.

Now compare this that Umar(ra) whose minister of economic affairs was Shifa al-Adawi a lady.

The Jigra has done it's part and it yielded nothing. No more talks.

In the past they have asked similar things

Pakistan in the hope that these namak harams could change

Agreed to multiple requests

Releasing TTP from jails
Allowing resettlement
Jirgas

All that ever happened, was that these Afghani haramis showed what snakes they are when they restarted attacks on schools and police stations

Enough is enough

No more deals, hunt them down and end this stupid tribal jirga nonsense

seems all done with insider knowledge

some one feeds info, to them, what and how to negotiate

Its absolutely not what they've suggested.

Don't let your political views blind you from the truth.

PTI is naive, not stupid. They think they can negotiate a peace deal that gets them to disarm TTP and tribal areas. They're not stupid enough to surrender to the TTP, and would fight back if push comes to shove.
If you said that in 2011 - 2015, I might have believed you. But after seeing a nearly two decades of violent ttp campaign, anyone who believes that can sweet talk them into disarming is living in a fool's paradise.

No other country will tolerate this. Imagine if in the UK we had a faction of lunatics roaming around with guns, doing as they pleased.

Rehabilitation or death. The shariah they ask for is not shariah, just a red herring.
Forget UK, not one Muslim country would allow it.

An an example, KSA, Egypt, Turkey, Jordan all have and would CRUSH this type of fitna with extreme prejudice.

When will that time come when PTI, along with the center, goes after this "sartan" in earnest?
PTI should be bringing clarity to the KP masses on this topic. I feel their entire approach is muddled, confused and the ppl on the ground are paying for it with blood and treasure.
There's no confusion in PTI 's mind ...they genuinely believe TTP and TTA are are the trump cards in their hands .

I am waiting on a ceasefire. Any news on that dear friends?

If it were not for Taliban's idiocy, this war couldn't happen.

Taking over an country's posts? Man, its beyond idiocy.

If Talibs cannot think about what they are going to do, i am ready to give them some instructions lol.

First step is to leave the caveman's mentality and try for sake of negotiations. Even if it takes years.

The last thing to do is to grab an other country's border posts for nothing. It was an act of invasion.
There is a tacit ceasefire in place right now. The other side is licking its wounds and doing damage assessment, however this is only till they instigate something else with their TTP proxies.

Looks like Pakistan has developed a clarity of mind and a singularity of purpose vis-a-vis Afganistan. The rest are all details...

Press release from MOFA. i think the last paragraph sounds a bit contradictory. Just avoid telling them to have a true representative govt there. its their internal matter.

We have noted the recent statements made by the spokesperson of the Taliban regime regarding Pakistan's internal affairs.

We strongly encourage the Afghan spokesperson to prioritize issues pertinent to Afghanistan and refrain from commenting on matters outside their jurisdiction. The principle of non-interference in matters of other countries should be adhered to as per international diplomatic norms. Pakistan does not require outside advice on its internal matters. We also expect the Taliban Regime to abide by its obligations and promises made to the international community during Doha Process.

The Taliban regime should not allow its land to be used for terrorism against other countries. Besides, the regime should focus on formation of an inclusive and truly representative government, instead of engaging in baseless propaganda.

@Watandar I think these demands are good and reasonable by TTP. What do you have to say?

They make big money for attacks by India. They won't give this up unless there are severe consequences.

Which is why they are making unreasonable demands to keep the charade going.

They should now be monitoring everything across the border and taking pre-emptive action on anything they see as a threat.

All TTP leadership should be an open target now.

PTI supporters here will disagree here, but their inaction is certainly pointing to some understanding perhaps (which I don't want to believe). Using foreign levers to influence domestic politics is something they have done in the US and the UK too by trying to leverage western support for their politics.

That aside, I think the key thing is for PTI to do the responsible thing and align with the center on the TTP threat. If they don't, they run the risk of being marginalized like the ANP of the past. TTP will start targeting their leaders too in the future. TTP/Taliban have been consistent about turning their guns on all those who get in their way.

is there any afghan group, which Indians wont support covertly to kill Pakistanis?!!

IDK

then, there is no peaceful resolution to this conflict
Rest assured, Indians will support ISIS and welcome their leaders into their parliament and address them as "his excellency" if ISIS announces war against Pakistan.

These Taliban are friends of Hindutva. That should tell us everything about them.

They're bad, and meant to help the TTP regroup in Pakistan openly.

Its a stupid idea to give in to their demands.
