I don't mean just airstrikes or limited ops in Afghanistan. No, no, I mean taking over Afghanistan, either with direct annexation or some form of territorial control that gives us access to the resources, trade routes, etc.

Like, it's ridiculous. For 40-50 years we've been picking up the tab for all their citizens without any of the benefits.

Afghanistan cannot run on its own, it needs Pakistan. So, we have a choice: we either let this dependency run on their terms or we make it run on our terms, along our interests.

PS: before anyone runs up on me on Afghanistan being the gravestone of empires and other bullsh!t. Like, F-off. We're not goray foreigners. This region is OURS. In 2005 many Pakistanis were ready to make OBL their emir and give their virgin daughters away to the taliban for their harems they wanted to establish in islamabad.
