Maybe regime change in Afghanistan

How did the last regime change work out?

Regards

So, you have established a bond with the Taliban? I thought there was no good Taliban, but only bad Taliban.

I wish I could see Obama's face today. I wish I would see all the US and NATO generals who brought India into Afghanistan as an anti-Taliban force. Their faces would be red and humiliated. US/NATO ally India invites Taliban to Hindustan with red carpet treatment.

Great

The last one got rid of the U.S, NATO, India and the Afghan Republic

Just because these guys are a bunch of goons, doesn't mean the last lot were not a bigger threat to our strategic interests

We just have to keep going until the Afghans learn to behave

"our side of the border".
What happens when they're on your side of the "border"? The previous attacks didn't happen in border area but deep inside you.

What the foreigners had advantage of was being miles away. You're right next to them, with literally no border. They'll bring it to your home, watch and witness.
Thats why deporting all the namak harams is step 1.

We've fought this war inside our border for 20 years. Now we're going to fight it inside YOUR border.

What I am saying is that the bombing does not do anything to scare off the Taliban . Americans after they exited tried to bomb them to support afghan forces and he’s killed a few afghans but did not do anything to prevent defeat of their govt
We're not changing the govt, we only need to kill those attacking us and those responsible for it. We can do that for as long as we like.

Especially if we blockade Afghanistan.

Their can be no insurgency without local collusion

Why is their insurgency in some areas and not others?
many factors involved. first of all other regions dont have border with them, second there are same people on both side of border and has family relations e.g shinwari and afridi are also there on the other side of afghanistan. but these two are minor issue the big problem was it started from 1979 these mujahideen were trained by PAK and USA combined and later after naik muhammad the very same people became TTP, then they have sophisticated weapons and men power and funding that local people with very much resistance could carb them. more than 2500 people died only in khyber agencey when fighting mangal bagh and trying to curb them between 2005 and 2015. then there were no schools, development and job opportunites not even these people have genuine islamic madrassa knowledge there. Until 2017 there was no road in half of khyber agency especially in Tirah valley. people used to go through mules. there were no schools. and there are many other reasons too

second there are same people on both side of border and has family relations e.g shinwari and afridi are also there on the other side of afghanistan

These are the main issues why the local popular won't do what any other sane population will do, which is inform the authorities

Let's stop wasting everyone's time, by denying this is not a ethnocentric issue

TTP demands are not rational, Pakistan has tried to be reasonable and all we got from the Afghans was more harami behavior

We have to fight back now

pit in which a person’s skin peels off the moment they fall, is ready for Pak. establishment (a litmus test!)

I only see 'anti-Pakistan Muslims'!

hope you get the duality!

i.e no hatred for Pak. is a pre-condition for being a Muslim!
only blind can hate his brother and blind cannot be a believer!

Collective Amnesia: Funny how India has suddenly forgotten the following irritants in its relationship with the Taliban regime in Afghanistan.
  • The Kandahar Indian Airlines Indian Airlines Flight 814, 24th December 1999 .
  • The destruction of the Buddha statues carved into the mountain in Bamyan Valley on February 26, 2001.
  • The wholesale persecution, and expulsion off Hindus and Sikhs and seizure of their properties . During the adoption of the 2019 Citizenship Amendment Act by India the plight of Hindus and Sikhs in Afghanistan was specifically mentioned.
A recap on the situation of Sikhs and Hindus in Afghanistan.
( Note : Unlike India and Pakistan who res signed a pact in 1949 protecting respective minorities there is no such an agreement between Afghanistan and India. On a more realistic note, India has long since abandoned the the Liaquat Nehru Pact of 1949).

  • Mid-20th century: The Hindu population in Afghanistan was over 280,000.

  • 1992: The population dropped to about 88,000.

  • 1990s: Widespread persecution, including harassment and land seizures by warlords, caused many to flee.

  • Post-2001: Some Hindus and Sikhs returned after the U.S. invasion, but conditions worsened as warlords gained power within the new government structure.

  • 2009-2021: The population continued to decline sharply, with many families leaving due to ongoing threats and conflict.

  • 2021-Present: The Taliban's return to power led to an even faster exodus of the remaining minority population.
Reasons for Hindus fleeing Afghanistan.
  • Religious persecution:
Hindus faced systematic hostility, including forced conversions, harassment, and attacks on places of worship.

  • Economic hardship:
Religious minorities were subjected to economic discrimination, such as being forced to pay the jizya, a tax on non-Muslims.

  • Violence and fear:
The communities lived under constant threat of violence and abduction, which made daily life unbearable.

  • Seizure of property:
Warlords and other powerful groups often took over land and businesses owned by Hindus and Sikhs.

  • Taliban's return:
The return of the Taliban in 2021 intensified fears of persecution, pushing the few remaining families to leave the country.
Current status
  • Estimates suggest that only a few dozen Hindus and Sikhs remain in Afghanistan today.

  • The vast majority have fled to countries like India, Europe, and North America.

  • Those who remain often face an unlivable situation and are struggling to find safety.

Some poor assessments on this page:

- "graveyard" of empires nonsense. Not really, those "empires" are still flourishing whilst you worship yourselves (culture). They are going to Mars whilst you are running around in sandals.

- Pakistan will fail because USA failed. Pakistan isn't occupying it and it's objectives are different. Momentum just needs to be maintained.....the free movement they enjoyed and counted on for decades has come to an end. They assumed they could do this forever and did not plan for this eventuality.

- Those of you questioning it need to understand what we are dealing with. What feasible alternatives are you suggesting? Right at this moment a Taliban official is sitting in India, a few months after operation sindhoor resulting in the deaths of our children and in the face of Indian atrocities against Muslims. The bastions of shariah have no problem with that? They have no problem with receiving money from idol worshippers?

What a bizarre alliance....

The pounding must continue.....monitor his flight back and escort it with fully loaded JF17s.
