Your analysis is incorrect because it fails to interpret ground realities regarding Afghanistan's ethnic and political composition.

If Pakistan pushes harder, the Taliban's rivals will storm Kabul and the Taliban will be finished.

The women of Afghanistan, the opposition groups of Afghanistan, the exiled educated seculars of Afghanistan, the nation states of USA, China, Tajikistan, KSA and Iran all have no problem at all with Pakistani actions. Simply read between the lines of those nations' statements - calling for "restraint" and nothing more. This is as green a light as Pakistan could possibly get.

"Carry on" is the message.

Hopefully knock big holes in some of those bug-eyed leadership council members squatting in Kabul.
