Big difference is all those mentioned were invaders. Pak is a neighbour not going anywhere. Either the Taliban stop their support of terror groups or Pak deals with them, no middle line now.

So what is exactly going on here? What is the cause behind the Taliban/Afghanistan and Pakistan hostility?

Very strange looking at this from the outside. I recall that Pakistan played a key role in keeping the Taliban/Pashtun factions alive during the USSR invasion in the 1980's as well as during the US occupation not long ago.

Is it all about Afghanistan not recognizing the Durand line and them wanting to annex the Pashtun majority areas of Pakistan?

Quite a mess anyway with India also being involved. Strange bedfellows, Modi's India and Taliban.


Arabs conquered Afghanistan and Islamized it. A total myth that it has never been conquered. Before that, Greeks. Afterwards the Mongols.

Arabs, mughols, british, Russians and Americans all conquered and many left due to one reason or another unrelated to afghan doing

E.g Americans only left because of political reasons at home otherwise they held losing neglible man power for decades

1. first party needs civilizational slayers (who, are in fact imposters!)
2. and, civilizational slayers think, they need some one else's help to destroy some other country, which is'nt even a civilization!

Greeks invaded and didn't leave. They just assimilated themselves to the point of dilution. The Timurid and Chugtais also similarly assimilated, predominantly with Tajiks and Uzbeks.

I have my own gripe with American foreign policy in regards to Israel and other things - but one thing about them is they are very logical and rational when interacting with everyone. I sometimes feel this forum is everyone's own echo chamber believing the worse and thinking Pakistan can magically solve the Falestini issue. They failed to under that the Arabs have tried without much success prior and just decided to focus on themselves. The Americans mean well and its always 1+1 with them. They are very logical. Its just that Middle East is a cesspool of snakes - all vying to be the top dog instead of working together (for peace). They support groups to further their own agendas. The Americans way of fighting was never this way. It was always support and let the client states do what they wanted. Hatred of Russians was always there in Ukraine and Eastern Europe and they too are very treacherous. Americans just found a way to make money of other's hatred and foolish decisions.
The US literally was fatigued dealing with the cesspool known as Afghanistan. They knew that proxy war with Pakistan will goes directly against the US foreign policy when they were in Afghanistan. I forgot who's regime was in power but they were going to hold a meeting with TTP and the Americans found out and arrested the TTP beforehand and handed them over to Pakistan. Anyone with more accurate information can correct me if my facts are hazy.

i think they have a weird obsession with all these 'trousers' or 'patloon' snatching and displaying... i mean anyone can literally snatch a uniform in any small post which was probably overrun by these cavemen, how is this a BIG deal? The Indians have their F-16 shootdown obsession and I have always seen these cavemen and their followers with this patloon snatching and displaying obsession

They have weird fetish of smelling damp sweaty dirty pants… akin to their perverse desire for young boys… laanat on them…
